The Cross 250 was part of Maico's 2000s relaunch, with a new, much stiffer computer-designed frame, swingarm and fork, plus adjustable suspension and CNC and ceramic-coated parts. It was offered in motocross and a dedicated enduro form. Its red, black and white bodywork used a slimmer tank and longer seat.
